Job Description
Lomanco, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing/Automation Controls Electronic Technician to join their team at the Jacksonville, AR plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and repair all production equipment, as well as fabricate custom control systems.
This is a highly technical position, and the ideal candidate will have experience working with electrical systems, including voltages up to 480 VAC, electronics, a variety of PLCs, programming of PLCs, AC/DC motors and drives, installation and troubleshooting of relay and PLC controlled equipment. Additionally, the technician will be expected to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and minor fabrications as needed.
The role requires someone who is able to handle tasks of high complexity and is comfortable working with a range of equipment and technologies. The successful candidate will need to be a skilled problem solver and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Qualifications
The candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5-7 years previous experience in industrial maintenance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in working with electronics and PLC’s
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley software tools: (RSlogix 500/5000, CompactLogic, RSlinxs/RSLinxs Enterprise, Factory Talk View Studio,
- Panel Builder and Ultraware/Ultramaster)
- Ability to read schematics and ability to read and understand instructions for electronic, electrical, and mechanical tasks
- Excellent attendance record
- Excellent safety record and work habits. Able to work well with all departments
